Open card problem

SSD units are required to buy a new format can be written to and read data in the Windows operating system is recommended to use NTFS.

You may check if the power supply is conneted normally. Please reinstall the SSD when data transfer interrupted. The data saved in the SSD would not be missed if an interruption happened during data transfer.

Installed problem

Take Windows XP as example, you can depart the SSD by Disk Management.

There would be the following two possibility:

  1. Power supply issue. You can connect the SSD through the USB port on back of the desktop to ensure the USB power is strong enough. Don't use the USB Hub or any other USB extension device to connect the SSD to the host because these devices can not supply USB power strongly enough.
  2. The SSD has not been added into the OS. Please add the SSD into the Windows XP or Windows 7 by the device manager.

It is the normal prompt message if it is the first time installation. If the SSD has been used for a while, please contact with Customer Service for the solution if the SSD has been well-fixed.

Other problems

Early SSD does not support this feature, and therefore may be detected abnormal, but to eliminate this concern, if the product is detected out of health alert, it is recommended to contact customer service for further confirmation.

There may be the following reasons:

  • a. The component are damaged because of wrong input-voltage;
  • b. The firmware is lost.

All storage media, including CD, hard disk, SSD are not permanent storage. And we suggest you to backup the data to several drive to decrease the risk.

The SSD is not disk and no bad rail, traditional hard drive detection tools is not suitable to detect SSD

If you want to make RAID 0, please set the mother-board as RAID 0, and fix two pcs same SSD to the PORT. Normally, the RAID 0 SSD performance can be improved double.

Take Windows XP as example, you can depart the SSD by Disk Management.

You need to format the new SSD first, and we suggest you take NTFS format under Windows OS.
